About Us

Non-Profit Organization helping those who help animals

Hope For Animals Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to support individuals and organizations who help care for the thousands of homeless cats and dogs in our community.

To a dog or cat, their human owner is their life companion to whom they unconditionally give their love & trust to. It is devastating to see the pain and suffering that takes place when these loving creatures are starved, abused, neglected or abandoned. For those animals unfortunate to be born onto the streets, their short life is nothing short of exhausting, painful and scary.

Thankfully, there are many shelters, rescue organizations and individual feeder groups working in Miami Dade County and Broward County, Florida who actively volunteer their time and resources to help rehabilitate these animals and find them their forever home….These are the people and organizations that we proudly serve.

We collaborate with local veterinarians to ensure that the animals receive the best possible care. Hope for Animals covers the vet bills thanks to generous donations from our donors.

Food & Supplies

We provide food and supplies to several large shelters in our community as well as to individual colony feeders.

We are on a mission to provide dog and cat food to shelters, rescues, and feeder groups as well as to provide financial assistance for TNR’s, and injured animals that need veterinary care….free of charge.

FAQs

To provide hope and support for homeless, abandoned or abused animals and promote compassionate and humane vet services for animals that urgently need care.
We are different because we help support shelters, rescue groups and individual feeders by supplying food and financial assistance to them. This allows for these groups to directly focus on their mission of helping animals rather than chasing after donations.
Yes and all of your donations are tax deductible.
No. However, we can align you with one of the amazing animal shelters that we work closely with in your area. Please remember that Hope for Animals Foundation currently services Miami Dade County and Broward County, Florida.
Animal rescue is a social service that helps protect animals from dangerous situations that often involve cruelty, neglect, homelessness and abuse. Animal rescue often involves TNR (trap, neuter & return) services as well as fundraising to provide funds for animals that require urgent vet care. Many rescues raise funds to provide feeders with food and resources to help service hundreds of cat colonies in their community each year.
The biggest difference is that most shelters keep their available pets in a single facility, while most rescue groups keep theirs in the homes of volunteers and fosters. Also, shelters usually have some paid staff as well as volunteers, while rescue groups are almost always all-volunteer efforts.
